Of course the real excitement comes from the INTERCEPTOR'S exhibition runs at dragways, including ADRL, NJRA, NHRA and IHRA drag racing events. With the extensive fire and smoke show, prior to potentialy a 300 mph 1/4 mile pass, we will be sure to capture everyone's attention.
As a former police officer in the State of Wisconsin, I have observed the drug/alcohol and self-esteem issues growing at an alarming pace among young people. Interceptor Team has a heartfelt passion to help the youth realize each of them is special and has the capability of reaching their dreams. We will focus on the positive life issues, healthy activities and goal setting toward positive choices for their future. This includes working in conjunction with police departments and current intervention programs.
As a RAD Racer spokesperson for "Race Against Drugs" and G.R.E.A.T. we will present a positive message, offering drug/alcohol prevention information, both verbally and in hand-out literature to youth at schools and at race tracks that will be followed with an interactive display of the INTERCEPTOR and its' operation.
The INTERCEPTOR is also a tribute to the nation's law enforcement. The men and women who currently serve and those who have served previously. The Team aims to be a representative of the nation's police force, a rolling tribute, building relationships, providing entertainment and education to strengthen the communities we visit.
Look for the flashing red and blues when the INTERCEPTOR is on display in your community. Stop by and say,"Hi". We would love to talk with you, pass along some of our informational hand-outs and answer any questions you might have about drug/alcohol prevention or the INTERCEPTOR. Be sure to ask for your autographed picture of the INTERCEPTOR and come out to the race track for a show you won't soon forget.
